In this month's newsletter, we dive deep into the core of what makes us effective leaders: self-awareness. This essential skill shapes every aspect of our leadership, from decision-making and team dynamics to our overall effectiveness in any role. It's not merely about understanding who we are; it's about harnessing this awareness to drive meaningful change and inspire those around us.
Self-awareness isn’t just a tool for personal growth—it's a critical component in the development of successful, empathetic, and dynamic leaders. Whether it’s reconnecting with your purpose, evaluating your impact as a leader, or embracing new technologies like AI in the workplace, understanding your personal leadership style and how you influence others is key.
Our focus this month is to provide you with resources and insights that will not only enlighten but also empower you to lead with authenticity and vision. Each piece of this newsletter is designed to contribute to your growth as a leader.
Warm regards,
Kathy

Survey Shocker: 97% Have Worked for at Least One Bad Boss
Our recent survey results are eye-opening: 97% of respondents shared that they have worked for at least one boss they would never work for again or recommend to others. This statistic is alarming and calls for immediate attention from leaders at all levels.
Many of you echoed similar sentiments, saying, "I can't say I'm surprised by these results; there are a lot of poor leaders out there." While this reaction is common, it’s disheartening and suggests that poor leadership is not just widespread but often accepted as the norm.
Here’s the silver lining: Many leaders are taking this opportunity to reflect and ask, "Is it possible that I’m one of those non-endorsed leaders? What could or should I be doing differently?" This self-awareness is the first step toward meaningful improvement.
Poor leadership is costly. It results in unproductive teams, dissatisfied customers, and missed financial targets. In contrast, great leaders create a virtuous cycle of productivity, satisfaction, and an improved bottom line.
The saying holds true: people leave bosses, not companies, but they also stay and thrive because of their bosses. If you’re looking to boost your bottom line quickly, the most effective investment is ensuring every manager in your organization is performing at their best.
Do you know how well you and your leadership team are performing? It’s time to find out! Utilize tools like the E3 Leadership Endorsement Score to measure and enhance your leadership effectiveness and drive profitability. Let’s not accept poor leadership as the status quo. Instead, let’s strive to be the leaders people want to follow and endorse.
Thank you for your participation!
